Chromophobia is an Apulian electronic musical group, born in 2018 by Davide Petiti, composer and multi-instrumentalist, and Francesco Verardi producer and sound engineer. Their first album is "Appia", a record that was created with the intention of spreading important issues using the language of electronic music as if these sounds were a cure for the chronic diseases of our society.

"APPIA" is the need that Chromophobia has to shout and free itself from all the ethical and moral concerns of our territory.

The band creates real unpublished shows, which blend music with various disciplines, in particular dance, theatre and circus arts.

Winners of the call “Programmazione Puglia Sounds Record 2020/2021- REGIONE PUGLIA-FSC 2014/2020-Patto per la Puglia Investiamo nel vostro futuro”, the album takes on a particular originality precisely because of its being a "son" of Mother Earth Puglia, a record that combines the acoustic sounds of the trombone, the trumpet, the percussion etc. ... up to the synthesized and modulated sounds of electronic music.

Each song tells "a thousand shades" of the Apulian territory and how different they are, in fact, the musical genres that are intertwined with each other from folklore to rock to holy music and to house music.

The first single "Purple money" is a way for artists to leave a tangible sign to listeners, it is in fact a song of protest against the society that today is a slave to consumerism and unfortunately venerates the "God of money".

"APPIA" is the need that Chromophobia has to shout and free itself from all the ethical and moral concerns of our territory.
