Psycodrummers is a musical project created by 11 professional percussionists from Rovigo, born in February 2014, with the need and primary intent of creating artistic/musical performances of strong emotional and sound impact without using 'conventional' instruments. The project is characterised by the choice of exclusively self-produced and repurposed musical instruments, through the reuse of waste materials from the processing of industrial waste. In 2022, after the pandemic break, the need arose to experiment with new sounds, new electronic instrumentation entered the setup and the single Rwanda was released, available on all digital platforms. The result is a new show with new songs, an electrified setup exclusively for stages, and a new luminous LED costume. The musical genre ranges from African music, samba, European electronic dance, hip hop to Japanese culture.
